What does a technical construction inspection cover?
Inspections assess agreed, accessible parts of the work. These may include the structure, building envelope, window connections, wet rooms and details before closing up or handover. Findings are documented with text and photographs.
Are client-side inspections the same as statutory independent control?
No. Client-side inspections are commissioned by the client. Statutory independent control under Norwegian building regulations is a distinct role. Those appointments are assessed separately against the project, control area and applicable requirements.
Can you inspect one specific issue or several homes?
Yes. We can focus on a specific concern or prepare an inspection plan for several homes. What can be inspected depends on access, construction type and project stage.
When should I arrange an inspection?
Contact us before the relevant structures are closed. We can then coordinate the inspection with the programme and assess the agreed details while they remain accessible.
