We compare relevant project and payment documentation with documented and observed progress, then present our assessment in a concise monitoring report.

01 / THE STARTING POINT

Payment requests need to reflect actual construction progress.

QUESTIONS & ANSWERS

Before we begin.

What is construction loan monitoring?

It is a technical assessment comparing documented and observed construction progress with the evidence supporting payment requests. Horisont summarises findings, assessments and qualifications in a report for the client.

What documentation do you need?

We review the mandate, project information, budget, payment schedule and relevant invoices or drawdown requests as agreed. Site visits and any additional documentation are discussed for each appointment.

Can Horisont monitor several drawdown stages?

Yes. For ongoing monitoring, we agree inspection milestones throughout construction. This provides continuity and allows progress to be compared from one drawdown to the next.

Who decides whether a loan payment is released?

The bank or finance provider decides. Horisont supplies technical evidence within the agreed mandate; our report does not replace credit assessment, legal review or the client's other controls.
