QUESTIONS & ANSWERS

Before we begin.

Who can commission a damage inspection?

The service is intended for insurance professionals, claims organisations and other professional clients needing external building expertise. We can agree individual cases or ongoing cooperation.

What does the damage inspection documentation include?

The report summarises the instruction, observed conditions, relevant photographs and technical assessment. It describes proposed measures, further questions and limitations within the mandate. Estimating and follow-up are included where agreed.

What types of damage can you assess?

Horisont considers water and moisture damage, building damage, and damage to structures and finishes, among other cases. Acceptance depends on the nature of the case, required expertise, location and available capacity.

Does Horisont decide insurance coverage or compensation?

No. Our role is the agreed technical assessment and documentation. Decisions on coverage, compensation and settlement rest with the client and other responsible parties.
