We bring structure to the project, monitor progress and workmanship, and help resolve the technical and practical questions that arise along the way.

02 / COORDINATION AND CLARITY

Many specialists. One client. Countless decisions.

A building project can bring together architects, consultants, contractors, subcontractors, suppliers and public authorities. Each is responsible for their own work. The client still needs to keep the whole project in view.

Progress, technical solutions, changes, interfaces and decisions all affect one another throughout a project.

You do not need an in-house project team to get professional support.

QUESTIONS & ANSWERS

Before we begin.

What does an external project manager do for the client?

An external project manager coordinates organisation, progress, decisions and technical questions within an agreed mandate. Horisont can support selected stages or follow the project throughout construction.

How do project management and construction management differ?

Project management coordinates the project as a whole. Construction management focuses more closely on execution, technical follow-up and coordination on site. Horisont's tasks and responsibilities are set out in the appointment.

When should Horisont get involved?

We can join at the early planning, design, procurement, construction or completion stage. An early conversation helps define responsibilities, deliverables and the decisions that need attention.

How much does project and construction management cost?

Fees and working arrangements depend on the project's stage, size, complexity and level of support needed. Share the project, programme and expected site visits so we can agree a clear scope before work starts.
